Join us to learn some tried and true methods for turning your crisis donors into committed annual donors. You can retain those who gave to your organization when the pandemic (or other crisis/disaster) made the need abundantly clear. Our two presenters are:

Laurel McCombs
Laurel brings over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector to her role as consultant and trainer with The Osborne Group. Laurel works closely with clients on topics including donor engagement, development operations, board fundraising, and more. In addition to well-received workshops for national organizations, universities, and others, Laurel has presented at the AFP International Conference, CASE-NAIS, and AFP Congress. Prior to joining TOG, Laurel worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America where she coordinated capacity-building support to agencies across the country. Laurel has a degree from USC and lives in Damascus, OR.
Nichole Turgeon 
Nichole Turgeon is the CEO of BBBS of the Midlands in Omaha, NE. Nichole joined the agency in 2005 as the Development Director. BBBS of the Midlands has grown significantly over the last 16 years. This growth in impact has been fueled by successfully building and retaining donor relationships leading to significant revenue growth. Nichole is a CFRE and has a Masters in Philanthropy and Development from Saint Mary’s University. Nichole has presented at local and regional conferences and meetings as well as the AFP International Conference and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America National Conference.
