Panel discussion featuring AFP Nebraska’s 2022 Professional Awards Winners! Learn from the experts, leading peers in our AFP chapter, as they discuss share their wisdom: lessons learned, biggest mistakes and industry predictions!

We'll be honoring the following individuals for their achievements:

FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR - Sabrina Weiss, Omaha Performing Arts - This award recognizes an outstanding individual fundraising professional who works for a nonprofit, charitable organization. Nominees must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional fundraiser. They must also be a current AFP member. 

EMERGING FUNDRAISER - Haley Martinez, Dimensions Research Foundation  - This award recognizes an outstanding individual fundraising professional who works for a nonprofit, charitable organization and is new to the field. Nominees must have no more than 5 years of experience as a professional fundraiser, regardless of age. They must also be a current AFP member. 

AFP-NEBRASKA FUNDRAISING "HALL OF FAME" - Mari Lane Gewecke, Retired - This award recognizes outstanding individual fundraising professionals who currently work for or are retired from a nonprofit, charitable organization. Nominees must have more than 15 years of experience as a professional fundraiser. They must be a past or present member of AFP for more than 5 years. 

We'll also conduct the election of our 2023 Board of Directors (and we promise - NO STUMP SPEECHES!)  Following is the proposed slate of officers and directors for the coming year:

Cost to attend the event is $20 per person and the event is open to all members and guests.
