Join us Tuesday, January 23 as we recognize some of our Chapter's most outstanding members -- install our 2024 Officers and Directors -- and enjoy some camaraderie with each other.

We'll be honoring the following individuals for their achievements with a brief program starting at about 5:00:

FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR - Amy Ossian, Membership Manager, Lied Center for Performing Arts - This award recognizes an outstanding individual fundraising professional who works for a nonprofit, charitable organization. Nominees must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional fundraiser.  

EMERGING FUNDRAISER - Jessie Hedrick, Communications & Development Director, Community Action Partnership of Lancaster and Saunders Counties - This award recognizes an outstanding individual fundraising professional who works for a nonprofit, charitable organization and is new to the field. Nominees must have no more than 5 years of experience as a professional fundraiser, regardless of age.  

AFP-NEBRASKA FUNDRAISING "HALL OF FAME" - Sara McClure, Director of Development, The Nature Conservancy - This award recognizes outstanding individual fundraising professionals who currently work for or are retired from a nonprofit, charitable organization. Nominees must have more than 15 years of experience as a professional fundraiser. 

We'll also conduct the installation of our 2024 Board of Directors  Following is the slate of officers and directors for 2024:

• Secretary: Michele Peon Casanova (Lincoln Arts Council, Lincoln)
• Treasurer: Scott Williamson (Madonna Foundation, Lincoln)
• Education Programming Co-chairs: Alyssa Kohler (Omaha Performing Arts, Omaha) and Amy Ossian (Lied Center for Performing Arts, Lincoln)
• Membership Co-chairs: Chloé Sweet (The Nature Conservancy, Omaha/Lincoln) and Lisa Hukill (Boys Town, Omaha)
• National Philanthropy Day Chair: Nani Reed (Strawhecker Nonprofit Services, Omaha)
• IDEA Chair: Matt Pohren (Abide, Omaha)
• Greater Nebraska Outreach Chair: Kristen Eckhardt (Encourage Center, Hastings)
• Awards Chair: Lacey Locklear (Completely KIDS, Omaha)
• Members at Large: Dani Bryant (YMCA of Lincoln, Lincoln), Nick Osborn (Nebraska Arts Council, Omaha), and Emily Prauner (Fontenelle Forest, Omaha)

Cost to attend the event is $20 per person and includes one drink ticket and light appetizers. The event is open to all members and guests.
