The best time to plant a majestic oak tree was twenty years ago. The second-best time is now. This holds true for when the best time is to implement a planned giving program. If not already established, then NOW. 

During the next 20-25 years, the United States will observe the greatest wealth transfer in our history. The amount of wealth transferred is estimated to be 12-15 trillion dollars. By having the foresight to implement a comprehensive planned giving program, you assist in positioning your organization to potentially receive substantial charitable gifts during this transfer. An effective gift planning program will not only build long-term resources; but will enrich your current giving and magnify your impact. 

Our presenter for this special program is Johnne Syverson, Executive Director of the Charitable Giving Resource Center, an independent consulting firm specializing in the implementation of various Planned Gift strategies on an outsourced basis. He has professional credentials as a Certified Financial Planner™ Practitioner (CFP®) and is one of only 2,100 practitioners in the United States who is credentialed as an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP). He was one of the first practitioners in the nation to be awarded the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation. 

With over 45 years’ experience, Johnne serves as a resource to nonprofits, their donors, and professional advisors in the area of charitable tax planning, a strategy that enables individuals to increase their income, reduce taxes, and preserve their estate for their heirs and the charities of their choice.
