About The Program
What inspires people to join, stay, and invest in an organization? It’s more than strategy or structure—it’s the human factor. This session explores how authentic connections among diverse individuals—rooted in empathy, belonging, and emotional intelligence—create environments where people feel seen, valued, and inspired to give their best.
About The Speaker
Leticia Meitzen is a dynamic leader, passionate advocate, and transformative force who has spent more than two decades igniting change and uplifting communities across the nation. A proud alumnus of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Leticia has dedicated her career to the nonprofit and advocacy sectors—amplifying voices, building bridges, and creating meaningful, lasting impact.
Her journey has taken her to some of the country’s most vibrant and diverse communities—from Omaha to East Los Angeles, South Chicago to San Antonio, and from the halls of power in Washington, D.C., to the heart of New York City. As a former lobbyist and Vice President at one of the nation’s premier child advocacy organizations in D.C., Leticia honed her expertise in strategic communication, emotional intelligence, and coalition building, using her voice to champion equity and opportunity for all.
A certified powerhouse in Workplace Culture, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (D.E.I.B), Emotional Intelligence, Effective Communication, Active Listening, and Body Language, Leticia continues to expand her impact by pursuing certification in the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI).
With over 20 years of experience as a trainer, facilitator, and motivational speaker, Leticia brings heart, humor, and humanity to every room she enters. Her authentic energy and engaging style inspire individuals and organizations to unlock their potential, deepen their connections, and drive meaningful change.
Today, Leticia serves as a Trainer, Facilitator, Presenter, and Life Coach—empowering people and communities to lead with empathy, communicate with purpose, and create cultures of belonging wherever they go.
