2020 Awards Meeting and Networking Reception
Join us to honor some fellow fundraisers!
Join us Thursday, December 10 from 4:30-5:30 PM as we recognize some of our Chapter's most outstanding fundraisers -- elect our 2021 Officers and Directors -- and enjoy some online camaraderie with each other.
We'll be honoring the following individuals for their achievements:
FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR - John Mabry, Food Bank of Lincoln - This award recognizes an outstanding individual fundraising professional who works for a nonprofit, charitable organization. Nominees must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional fundraiser.
EMERGING FUNDRAISER - Patrick Kilcoyne, United Way of the Midlands - This award recognizes an outstanding individual fundraising professional who works for a nonprofit, charitable organization and is new to the field. Nominees must have no more than 5 years of experience as a professional fundraiser, regardless of age.
AFP-NEBRASKA FUNDRAISING "HALL OF FAME" - Barbara Bartle, Lincoln Community Foundation - This award recognizes outstanding individual fundraising professionals who currently work for or are retired from a nonprofit, charitable organization. Nominees must have more than 15 years of experience as a professional fundraiser.
Also, we'll conduct the election of our 2020 Board of Directors (and we promise - NO STUMP SPEECHES!) Following is the proposed slate of officers and directors for the coming year:
